Key Information
We are part of the Riverside Federation with Ten Mile Bank Riverside Academy.
The Riverside Federation schools are part of the DEMAT family (the Diocese of Ely Multi-Academy Trust), we foster a close working relationship with the local Diocese and hold collective worship twice a week.
Hilgay School is a small and special school and is valued highly by the community. The school is made up of 3 classes, Owlets are an EYFS and KS1 class, Tawny Owls are lower KS2 class (Years 3 and 4), Barn Owls are an upper KS2 class (Year 5 and 6).
Since January 2012 Hilgay Village Church of England (VC) Primary has been working in partnership with Ten Mile Bank Primary. The partnership was formalised in April 2012 and the headteacher now shares time between both schools.
Opportunities are taken to work together in academic and sporting activities.
We aim to give our pupils a broad range of knowledge and positive experiences to equip them for a happy and successful life. We do this through combining sports, artistic and musical activities within the framework of the National Curriculum.
We pride ourselves on creating an environment where children are known as individuals and where their particular needs are met as far as possible. We want our children to have the opportunity to grow to become valuable members of the Christian community.
You will find our staff approachable and happy to discuss any aspect of your child's education with you at a mutually convenient time
